Hi,
Since this seems to be an AirPrint printer, I guess that the wired connection is via Ethernet to one of the LAN ports of a Wi-Fi router. Correct?
USB would require drivers, and Mac drivers do not appear to be available from Canon for this model.
With AirPrint, the following power-cycling sequence may be worth testing:
Power off the (Wi-Fi) router, the printer, the computer, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the computer. Finally, power on all other devices/computers. Any change?
Addendum
According to the TR8600 series manual, this printer would also allow a USB connection to use the driverless AirPrint technology.
