Photos not uploading after installing Monterey 12.1

Now you will probably need to set your library to be the system library, so that it will work with iCloud (if you use it) or the image picker for upload to websites etc.

With the library open, go to photos>preferences. The circled button should be greyed out. If it is not, click it.

Hold down the option key while you start photos. That will open a pane with all your libraries listed. Most likely one of those will be the library you need.
