Suspicious email

I have recieved a suspicious email that is apparently from apple saying that $59.98 has been purchased on a game. Which was not me

Phishing scam. Lots of these around.


Nothing to do, no need to “cancle” anything, and best get on with the rest of your day.



Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support


If you’re not sure whether the message is a scam (poor grammar and misspellings are pretty good indicators of fakes with Apple email), visit the Apple website (directly, and not using links in any of these messages) and check your purchase history.


If you want, you can report this to Apple, to the email address listed in the above article.
