Hi DR Sajeev, for an app that is having oddities like this, definitely try the basics first. Make sure the iPad OS is up to date, make sure the Gmail app is up to date, perform a full reboot of the iPad.
-Make sure you aren’t very low on storage space on your iPad.
-Is it possible the file types are being rejected by the gmail filter?
-Are you able to use a different email app to email these attachments to your own gmail account? If so, what happens if you now use Forward to send that email/attachments? Does that work? (It can be used as a temporary workaround).
If you need a second email app to use for testing, I recommend iCloud email/built in email app.
Consider contacting Google for support. They may have seen this and are aware of it. They may even already have a fix or workaround.

If it happens using the Gmail app only, I suggest that you contact Google Mail support team and ask them.
