no longer able to airplay to Apple 4K TV (except iPhone)

Running latest firmware and OS in all apple devices but I can only get my iphone to AirPlay to Apple TV. My MAC Book Pro and iPad no longer will airplay to Apple TV.

Verify that all devices involved are connected to the same home network.


If you use different SSID network names for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi band, then that would be seen as two separate networks, and devices on one part wouldn’t be able to communicate with devices on the other part. Instead have your router bridge the wired and wireless parts into one logical home network. For some routers it is enough to just not use multiple SSIDs.
