How long does it take to update all the apps on my new phone?

There's another thread on this subject...seems many people's APPs are taking forever to download after getting a new phone & completing the data transfer. My APPs were downloading over 8 hrs & didn't make much progress so I turned my phone off for about 5 mins. then when I turned it back on all the APPs downloaded very quickly. Maybe the APP downloads are getting hung when you switch from store wifi to cellular in the middle of the download. I specifically asked the store tech if that was going to be a problem & he said no but it's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Turning my phone off and restarting seemed to restart all the downloads, as you mention. It worked fine after that. Thanks for the help!

It may take some time depending on how many Apps you have and your network speed. I'd also recommend you turn off any third-party VPNs you have.
