I uploaded a new episode of my podcast at podcastsconnect.apple.com and the audio has finished processing and the website indicates that it is Published. Usually there is no more than a minute gap between when the website say published and when my friends and I can access the episode in the Podcasts app. I've been waiting all day and it is not showing up. Is apple having a server issue or something?

It can take up to two days for a new episode to appear in Apple Podcasts 'Browse'/iTunes Store/Web preview (though subscribers on a Mac or Windows will see it pretty well immediately) so this may be the explanation.
