Macbook M1 constantly slows down

My MacBook Pro M1 slows down multiple times a day. It starts with web pages not opening. I'll get a message that the webpage needed to be reloaded due to a problem. It seems to affect different types of browsers. Then programs won't open (i.e. not responding).


It resolves by restarting the computer and its fine for a while, before it starts over again.


I've reinstalled the Mac OS. And run first aid on the discs. This hasn't resolved the problem. Malwarebytes isn't identifying anything.
