Your daughter needs to have her own Apple ID. You should not share one.

Before you gave the iPad to your daughter, this is what should have been done --> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then set up the iPad as a new device and set your daughter up with her own Apple ID. You can use Family Sharing to share content with her --> Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

And if she is a minor, you can use Parental Controls to control the content she can see or use --> Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
