Pages 11.2--how do I turn off outlining?--it's driving me crazy

If you talking about text outline it is quite specific in the Pages Help menu:


Add or remove a text outline

  1. Select the text you want to change.
  2. In the Format  sidebar, click the Style button near the top.
  3. If the text is in a text box, table or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Style button.
  4. In the Font section click , then select or deselect the Outline tick box.
  5. If you add an outline, use the controls to change its line type, colour and width.

Tip: To create an outline effect with no colour inside, click the Font Colour pop-up menu below Character Styles, then choose No Fill.
