How do I make my phone tell me to plug it back up when it needs to aloud.

There is no audible alert, but you will get a visible warning dialog that must be acknowledged when the battery drops to 20%, and a 2nd when it drops to 10%. You should try to charge it if it gets as low as 20%, not so much for the battery, but so if you have an unexpected power-demanding need such as a long phone call when the battery is low it doesn’t shut off in the middle.
