If you have not jailbroken your iPhone and only downloaded apps from the App Store / iTunes Store then virus/malware is impossible.

Never visit questionable websites.

Soon after my iPhone 11 was acting strange and slower.

You may need to free up iPhone device storage see this Apple articles below:

I used to leave my phone out and unattended around this person .

Then you should learn not to do it.

Never provide your password, passcode, security questions, verification codes, recovery key or any other account security details to anyone else.

Thanks for your feedback & you're welcome.

Thank you Raicya,

I try to be careful of phishing ,scams ,etc .

I’m curious if a text message gif or video I received could’ve had a virus, spyware or malware imbedded in it?

I had received a 3 minute video from someone that was 83 MB.

Also a few gifs from the same person in iMessages.

Soon after my iPhone 11 was acting strange and slower.

it didn’t get hot as some people had mentioned their phones getting hot when they had spyware.

thank you very much for your help I will try some of those things you mentioned.

Also I was wondering should I do a factory reset ?

Everything is backed up on iCloud from my phone .

Thank you so much for your time and information.
