Hi sandartmaster,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! Is this only happening with this specific app? There are a few steps you can try according to this article: If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

  1. Quit the app then open it again. To quit the app, go to the Motion menu > Quit Motion.
  2. Restart your Mac. To restart go to the Apple menu (  ) > Restart.
  3. You can also delete and reinstall the app.

Hope that helps!

Start by deleting Motion preferences, and do so again every time the application crashes.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting Motion and click Delete Preferences.

If the problem persists, Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.

You have Chrome and its evil keystone daemons. They wreak havoc on video applications by hogging the system videotoolbox.

See https://chromeisbad.com for an explanation and for how to uninstall them.

Check if this is correct:

Launchd: /Library/LaunchAgents/com.pingit.MyTabletDaemon.plist

Executable: /Applications/MyTabletDaemon

Details: Domain name invalid - possibly malware

These are incredibly OLD:

Kernel Extensions:

/Library/Extensions

[Loaded] WiDisplayLoopbackSound.kext - com.edssglobal.loopbacksound (1.0.0 - SDK 10.7)

[Loaded] WiDisplayVGADriver.kext - com.edssglobal.widisplayvgadriver (1.0 - SDK 10.7)

[Not Loaded] hp_io_enabler_compound.kext - com.hp.kext.io.enabler.compound (3.2.0)

[Loaded] ufsd_NTFS.kext - com.paragon-software.filesystems.ntfs (14.0.543 - SDK 10.5)

I don't know what WiDisplay is.

And the Paragon software, if you really need it, must be updated.

[Other] com.paragon-software.NTFS.fsnotifyagent.plist (Not signed - installed 2015-10-25)

[Other] com.paragon.updater.plist (Paragon Software GmbH - installed 2015-10-25)

You also have plugins from PFS... make sure that they are up to date.
