Hello Supporters, I purchase Affinity Photo from the Apple Store in 2015 for some reason it refuses to work properly. I clicked on About this Mac, System Report, Software, Applications but cannot see Affinity Photo, I can see Affinity Designer. I have uninstalled the app correctly and reinstalled but still have no joy. I did check with Serif but even their help has not been successful. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Did you purchase Affinity Photo with a different Apple ID than you have associated with your Mac, and Affinity Designer? I have both applications and they update and operate normally since their original purchase years ago, across multiple operating system versions, Intel and Apple Silicon devices. Same Apple ID across multiple Macs and Mac App Store on all.

You have probably done so, but check for an Affinity Photo update in the Mac App Store which could be more compatible with Monterey. Current version is 1.10.5.
Have a final Time Machine baciup of Monterey before you go to the Apple Store.

I purchased both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer with the same ID as my Mac, Affinity Photo worked before but seems to have problems with Monterey. I have since removed the application and will be make an appointment with Genius Bar to check my Mac and Monterey. Perhaps the application has become corrupt and it may be pointless downloading it again from Apple.
