How to cancel a gift card?

Hello,

I have a question. I sent a friend of mine for her birthday a gift card in another country. Turns out she cannot use it, it could be used only in the United States. Now, how do I get the money back? She redeemed the balance but she does not need anything from the United States app store:((

So pretty much, she is now stuck in the United States app store and cannot change back to her country.

The balance is intact, nothing was spent. Is there any way for me to cancel that gift card and get a refund, so her balance is 0 again and so she could get back to using her region?
