I have recently upgraded my iCloud storage from 50g to 200g mainly to allow me to store ALL my photos together. I am now having trouble retrieving my later photos from iCloud back to my iMac.
it seems something is blocking it as it says uploading 6500 pics but nothing is happening.
any advice please?

I have been trying to import them from my iPhone and iPad for 1 week now. My internet is ok, not the fastest but should be capable of downloading these. uMac has all pics up to 2018 and then other devises since the. Don’t seem to be able to put them all together in iCloud and the preferably back to iMac? Thanks for help.
Depending on your Internet connection and the amount of pictures, this may take a while, until all photos are synced back from iCloud to your Mac.
