Sharing the same Apple ID on two iPhones and an iPAD

Is it OK to use the same Apple ID on all devices e.g., two iPhones, an iPad and iCloud?... any limitations e.g., can the phones call / text each other?... will all texts to iPhone A show on iPhone B?

If you are the user of all three devices, you should use the same Apple ID on all of them. If any of the devices are used by someone else, they should use their own Apple ID. Apple IDs should not be shared. You can share purchased content using Family Sharing.

And yes, sharing an Apple ID can cause problems with two phones trying to text each other. Just don't share.
