iPhone is asking me to sign in to an old (orphan) Apple ID

My iPhone is asking me to sign in to an old AppleID that I no longer have access to. This is an old work email address which dates back years when I linked my work and home accounts in order to simplify the carrying of two phones.

my question is twofold: (1) where can I find what Services are using this old ID and (2) how can I disable/resolve this message so I no longer have to deal with the reminders whenever I reboot my phone?

in answer to the obvious question, I don’t know the password for this account and I do not have the ability to request access to it. Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.

Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
