Daughter locked iPhone but now remembers passcode

I’m trying to figure out if there is any way to get back into my daughter’s iPhone without resetting it because her recent once in a lifetime trip pictures have yet to be backed up. She went through her 10 tries while with a friend and without finding out what happens after the 10th try, but now she remembers what the code is after getting home and looking at her iPad. Her iCloud wasn’t backing up the past few months but I’ve renewed the credit card and again shared the family plan with her account, and I was hoping it would start uploading pictures even though it was locked before I renewed, but we are not seeing anything in iCloud.com yet. She thinks it was still trying to save pictures automatically, but we are not sure what the settings were. It has never been hooked up to iTunes as she doesn’t have that on her computer, although she has hooked it to her PC before an allowed it access to Photos. I’m hoping that since she now recalls the passcode there is something we can do that doesn’t involve losing these pictures?
