Spam from iMessage unknown senders

There's a number of spam received from iMessage about 3-5 messages per week.

I report spam everytime I receive them but they come back with a different email address like @163.com

  1. Why Apple allows new email to mass send iMessage to others?
  2. Why can't iMessage block unknown email address from contacting me or at least give me the option to block so? Creating a new email address is so easy and quick, making spam actors easily able to create new account to spam.

If this can't be resolved, I think the only way forward for me is to disable iMessage altogether.

Please help to look into this matter.

The below won't block all unknown email addresses.

If you are using a device, try Settings/Messages/Blocked and you can add an address there.

On a computer, Messages/Preferences/iMessage/Blocked.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
