Trade in question

I just pre ordered the new iPhone but I am trading in my old phone. Will i get my new phone first before i have to trade in my old phone or will i be phoneless until my new one comes in?

the phone will ship with a return label and you will re-use the packaging. once the old phone is returned to apple and verified to be in the condition you the credit will be applied. otherwise you will be charged full price.
