If you don't subscribe to Apple Music

Here's what you can do:

• Buy music from the iTunes Store and download it to your device.
• Redownload music that you purchased from the iTunes Store.
• Sync music from your Mac to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Or you can sync music from your PC to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Start with this...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
