Vulnerabilities in Apple Watch 3 since no longer receiving updates

Hello,

I have an Apple Watch 3, with the latest firmware (version 8.7.1) and the watch which still meets my needs. However, since Apple is no longer providing security updates for Apple Watch 3, I need to know what the vulnerabilities in my watch are, so I can decide when I should stop using it. For example, when a new vulnerability is discovered, I need to know the severity, so I can decide if should stop using the watch in case the cybersecurity risk is too high.

How can I see what vulnerabilities have been discovered that affect the Apple Watch 3, since version 8.7.1 (and thus have are not addressed by Apple)?

Thank you!

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 8

Hello,

Unfortunately, that does not answer my question. If you look at the link you provided, the latest updates (e.g., the last one for "watchOS 9.0.2") says it is only applicable to Apple Watch Series 4, or later. However, I have an Apple Watch Series 3, and I need to know what vulnerabilities are in Apple Watch 3. I suspect many of the vulnerabilities listed as being fixed in watch OS 9.0.2 exist in Apple Watch 3, and of course, they are NOT being patched. This is an assumption.

So, in summary, my question is: what vulnerabilities exist (e.g., have been discovered) that apply to Apple Watch 3, but are not being patched (because Apple stopped providing patches to Apple Watch Series 3)?

Thank you
