Hello,

Depending on who started the Apple One subscription your husband may have the option to cancel his iCloud+ subscription or it may cancel automatically.

If you started the Apple One subscription under your Apple ID and shared it to him as part of Family Sharing he can chose to use the Apple One storage or keep his current iCloud+ storage.

What happens to your iCloud storage when you sign up for Apple One - Apple Support

"If a family member subscribes to Apple One

If you belong to a Family Sharing group and a family member subscribes to an Apple One Family or Premier plan, you can choose to keep your current iCloud+ plan or use the shared iCloud storage in Apple One.

If your family needs additional iCloud storage, the family member who purchased Apple One can buy more iCloud storage. With both Apple One and an iCloud+ plan, your family can share up to 4TB of total iCloud storage."

If your husband started the Apple One subscription and had an existing iCloud+ subscription there are three scenarios which determine what happens to the existing iCloud+ subscription.

"If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is more than your current plan

Your current iCloud+ plan is canceled and you'll receive a pro-rated refund. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.

If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is equal to your current plan

During the free trial, you keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One. Once the trial is finished, your current iCloud+ plan is canceled. Your total iCloud storage will be the amount included in your Apple One subscription.

If the iCloud storage included in Apple One is less than your current plan

You keep both your current iCloud+ plan and the iCloud storage in Apple One.

If you prefer to keep only the storage included in your Apple One subscription, you can downgrade or cancel your current iCloud+ plan."

I hope this helps.
