Date and Day of Week display options gone on OS 13.0 Ventura

With the new OS 13.0 Ventura update- the date and day of week no longer display at the top right of the screen next to the time.

In Settings>Date & Time, there isn't an option to 'always show' like there used to be. And it appears that 'day of week' isn't even an option anymore.

It's unthinkable why such a basic and necessary function would be removed.
