Disk not ejected properly

Macpro 2019 running Ventura 13.0.1. I have two SSD's installed on OWC Accelsior S: PCIe to 2.5" 6Gb/s SATA SSD Host Adapters, a 500GB just for data backup and a 1T for Time Machine. Both SSD's began giving "Disk not ejected properly" errors about a year ago but after update to Ventura much more frequently and happens several times a day. These errors appear to occur when the computer is sleeping or during screensaver. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I have adjusted energy saver settings to some recommendations in other threads to no avail. I have also reset the SMC and PRAM/VRAM. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply and that certainly would seem to fit the problem. I installed both cards/SSD's shortly after I purchased the computer in January 2020 and they worked fine for at least two years, when some infrequent disconnects began. The Ventura update a couple of months ago began the daily disconnects. I would wonder if my internal power supply might be losing something. My Applecare expires in two days on 12/13/22! Any ideas what I should do? Thanks.

I am thinking of removing the 500GB Toshiba drive and leaving only the Time Machine drive and maybe it would get enough power.
