IMO, the inability to create albums in a shared photo library is a fatal flaw. I have many photos, organized into albums by event. I would like to share them with my family but I need to share the organization also. Actually, I would like my shared photo library to contain folders (e.g. for years) that contain albums (e.g. for events) that contain photos.

Agree with this totally. Been searching for a solution for a while, I’m guessing from this post there isn’t a way to do it??
Apparently, each user gets to (has to) create their own folder/album organization for the shared library.
