When I set up an Apple Watch SE under Family Sharing on my iPhone, we are unable to download apps on the Apple Watch other than the standard ones that seem to come with a watch. The Watch app on the iPhone doesn't bring up any option to access available apps. Apple support have blamed the app developers, however I know others that do not have this problem. Has anyone else successfully troubleshot this problem? TIA
If you are talking about apps like Spotify, unless the app developers produce a version that will work on Family Sharing and family Watches there is nothing Apple can do.
Nothing to do with blame, it's just the way the pecking order works.
