Change Application Shortcut Not Working for Quit Safari

Hello to everyone,

As you can see in the videos in the example, you can change the shortcut for Quit Safari with this method. I am using the latest version of Ventura (22C65). While it can create shortcuts for many menus in the menu, such as About Safari, it cannot be created only for Quit Safari. I also tried in safe mode but it didn't solve the problem. How can I solve this problem?

You might try a macro app. The App Store has a variety of them and some are free, most reasonably priced. Do a search for "macro" in the App Store and look at the first 10. After 10 they seen to wander away from strict macro creation.

I use Keyboard Maestro which is probably the most powerful of the bunch. Maybe more than you need.

Yes the macro can work but this solution works for me too. If I can assign one extra key, at least I'll have less trouble. I wonder why this method, which worked in previous macOS versions, doesn't work in Ventura.
