Why do I have to restart my Apple TV to use sportsnet app?

Why is it every time I try to use the sportsnet app on my Apple TV I have to restart it. I seen what Apple replied to the last person who asked this question and that’s disgusting that they’re saying you should update your Apple TV.

Try this for any misbehaving app:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.
