"Enter your password to continue using iCloud" help

My pc is stuck in a loop that asks "Enter your password to continue using iCloud" but doesn't accept my password. How do i get rid of/clear this on my p/c Windows 11

If it doesn't accept your iCloud password, use these steps to reset the password: If you forgot your Apple ID password You may need to use another device to accomplish this.


Reset your Apple ID password on the web

If you don't have a trusted device, you can reset your password on the web — but the process might take a little longer.

When possible, the web process redirects you to a trusted device. If you'll have access to one of your trusted devices soon, it might be faster and easier to reset your password then.

Reset your password at iforgot.apple.com


Once you reset the iCloud password, then you can enter the new password into the PC and see if that will satisfy the prompt. In case this doesn't work, are you able to try updating iCloud for Windows? Do you have any updates available for Windows? As the software may need to be up to date to solve this.
