Photo Booth Videos not showing

This happened twice. Would it be possible to retrieve the video even after this happen. Also why has this happened?

—Did you try QuickLook to view your video ...highlite the file and simply use the Spacebar to open.

—Control click on the file and choose another alternative app to view(?—) >"Open with"

From Finder>Go>Go to Folder copy and paste:

~/Pictures/Photo Booth Library

Control click on this Photo Booth Library>"Show Package Contents"

Here you will see the PhotoBooth folders

From Finder>Go>Go to Folder

if the video was not recorded, or is corrupt or is unreadable, or , then no there is no recovering a viable video
