IPhone hardware issue

Received a system update and immediately I lost my cellular network. Connecting with apple support got to know that there is hardware issue. This happened on the 1 month post warranty. Got to know from Apple point of sale that if any hardware issue persist irrespective of warranty, Apple replaces the phone with a new one at free of cost. Just wanted to confirm from the community if this is correct? As Apple service center is saying "if hardware problem found then I have to pay around Rs 25k for repair or If I want to replace with a new IPhone 12, I have to pay additional Rs 50k".

Hello,

Go to Settings > About > Limited Warranty? Is it expired?

Do you have AppleCare+? See this:

AppleCare+ for iPhone

If your warranty is expired and no AppleCare+, you will have to pay for any repairs:

iPhone Repair

If your phone cannot be repaired you would have to pay for an equivalent replacement.

If you want to trade your existing phone for a new one, see this:

Turn the device you have into the one you want

Good luck.
