save path to all files and Finder windows currently open

Hi,

I'm often working on a project with many files open and have to stop and continue later. I can either leave everything open, which leads to a mess, or continue on a different desktop, but that will freeze the mac sooner or later. Is there an app that allows me to save the paths of all open documents, all Finder windows, and maybe Safari webpages so I can easily restore what I had before and continue where I left off? In Safari the Tabitha plugin is useful to save all open webpages. A similar app for files and finder windows would be nice. Is there such a thing?

Thanks!
