keynote presenter notes

I have a presentation coming up and practised at home on my MacBook pro connecting to my tv via HDMI.

Everything worked great . Now im in a hotel and want to practise again.

When i connect to the tv , if I put the arrangement to mirror mode things kind of work like they did when i practised back home except for one thing. I dont seem to have access to the cursor on my MacBook pro. Some of the presenter notes are longer than what can fit in the space and i ned to scroll down but i cant.

Any ideas?

Go to System Settings > Displays

press the alt key on the keyboard and click on the scaled button

select the next smallest display setting and test. Repeat if this does not correct the problem.
