Taking new iPad into use and not willing to sync pictures
Hi, taking new iPad into use and not willing to sync pictures from iCloud into it. Any way to prevent picture sync if copying iPhone data into iPad?

If you don’t wish to synchronise photos between devices using iCloud, you simply need to disable iCloud photos on your iPad, iPhone or both - as your needs dictate:
Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Photos > Sync this iPad | iPhone - set to OFF

Thx. Wasn´t sure if I can do this prior installing new iPad - I could! Changed setting immediately after installation (from backup) before iPad synced photos.
You’re very welcome. I’m delighted that the problem was easily resolved.
