So I just got my Apple Pencil out after it just sitting in a cabinet for a year, and it’s not working. My iPad says that the Apple Pencil is connected, and it’s at 73% battery, but it’s not doing anything when I try to use it. What’s wrong, and how do I fix it???
Hello! Make sure the Apple Pencil tip is tightened, by twisting it right/clockwise. Perhaps try to loosen it a bit, by twisting it left, and then tighten it again.
If there's physical damage to the tip (such as it looking worn out and blunt), you might need to buy some replacement tips from the Apple Store: Apple Pencil Tips - 4 pack - Apple
You should contact Apple Support if it isn't an issue with the tips: https://getsupport.apple.com
Or, you could buy another Apple Pencil.
