You would need to contact the app developer for help with that. But, first, delete the app and re-install it. That will 1)make sure you have the latest version and 2) it often fixes things.

Are you referring to the GOVERNMENT ALERTS found at the bottom of: Settings > Notifications?

If so, then I also have the same problem. This section of alerts is sometimes there, sometimes it isn’t. And I don’t know why this might be. Please try to Restart your iPhone - Apple Support, and see if that won’t bring them back.

If that is to no avail, try a Forced Restart.

Still nothing? Then please tell Apple about this here, and Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

Critical alerts are a feature that seems to have flown well under the radar. Before the advent of Focus, they were very useful for overriding DND for just that single app. I expect they are less necessary now that you can turn on focus but still allow a particular app to send alerts.

What was the fix for this issue?

After resetting my setting to fix another issue, I now have the same problem. My Dexcom G6 is not showing a "Critical Alert" button. I can see number but I want to sleep.

All the apps I have that use critical alerts have the switch within the app.

Did you re-install the G6 app?
