My disk will not eject from the Apple USB SuperDrive. It is not showing up on my desktop or in Finder.Any thoughts?

According to Apple, only the following iMacs are compatible with the Apple SuperDrive:
Based on your tagline, yours may not be one of them ... and potentially why your Mac is having issues with it.

Thank you very, very much, Tesserax, for taking the time to answer. You are correct ~ mine needed a special USB-C attachment in order for it to work in the first place. But that was just one of the problems with the Apple SuperDrive. I did restart my computer, and it did, finally, spit out the disk.
