When I type anything in pages it automatically makes a space after my words sometimes I don’t want a space after my words (irritating) so I backspace it then it highlights my word I just typed in orange and a bubble with half the word and an arrow and deletes it if I push any key. This is awful how do I turn it off.

This is new behavior in pages. Pages did NOT used to do this. Please provide a way to disable this feature as it causes constant unintended deletion of text and is so bad I’m going to have to stop using pages and find an alternative.
