I am trying to update to at least a newer version that can support the excel app. App Store states that it needs at LEAST the OS 12 version. System updates also state my Mac has the latest version and will not search for updates? Are there any tricks to get an excel supporting version?

well I have the same question and mine is 21.5in and running 10.10.5 (14F2511)
I can't use anything related to iCloud or apple id until I go a couple OS higher, but the App Store update tab doesn't show anything...
what model-year Mac?
