When exporting a project from FCP using Compressor, I get an error message on my compound clips like this:
However, the compound clip that has the text "75º, OP, TRIM, etc. does appear. This is a pretty consistent problem. Any suggestions?

That’s the missing generator alert. Is the generator isn’t the compound?

There is a generator missing in what you’re trying to export.
Define "generator".
I don't know what you mean by "generator". When I play this section back in FCP it's OK. When I export the project through FCP it's OK. When I send it to Compressor it has that error.
OK. I understand "generator" now. But the project plays back fine in FCP. I can export the project fine using FCP. Only when I use Compressor do I have an issue.
Try using a Compressor preset in FCP.
I just stated that I’ve done just that and it works. But sometimes it’s not convenient to export projects that way so I want to figure out how to get Compressor to work.
You simply said you could export from FCP. Perhaps you have a third party generator that works in FCP but can’t pass through Compressor.
