Connecting an iPad Pro (2023) to a Windows Domain

We're wanting to start replacing our Microsoft Surface devices at work with iPad Pro's. The only obstacle is going to be joining them to our Microsoft Domain and adding them to our Active Directory. Can this be done through our existing Cisco SecureConnect VPN that we use the rest of our devices?

The concept of Domain joining doesn't really exist on an iPad.

There is no login on an iPad, and there is no need for a server to validate a login.

You can add an Exchange email account to the iPad for mail and security policies, and you can log in to network resources through the files App by providing a correct user and password.

You can log in to a domain intranet using a valid domain user and password by navigating to it in Safari

You can install a security profile if required too for login access.
