Seagate Barracuda ST15150W

I have a Seagate Barracuda ST15150W 4.3GB Hard Drive that I'm trying to hook up but the software continues to tell me there is no scsi device!

I DO KNOW the jumpers are not on ANYWHERE AT ALL, so I suppose I'm seeking help on how to properly configure the jumpers so that my OS recognizes the HD so I can run LLFormat on it and install it.

Please help us help you. The last Macs shipped with SCSI drives installed (Beige G3/333) were discontinued in January 1999, and those required an Apple PCI adapter card. After that, PowerPC Macs with PCI slots required a third-party SCSI adapter card.


We can be more effective in helping you if you shared what Mac is involved and its macOS version. Otherwise we are guessing and that seldom has a good outcome.
