iOS 18 iPhone speaker not working when AirPlay in use

An iOS 18 if I am playing music to my HomeKit, I cannot hear anything on my iPhone when I choose to use my speaker to answer a phone call. For example, I am playing Pandora via airplay to my speakers. A call comes in and I choose to take it on the speaker versus the iPhone handset. I cannot hear anything until I go into AirPlay and disconnect from the speakers and put it back to iPhone. Then I can hear my call on the speaker of the iPhone. When I enter a call the music continues to play via AirPlay until I disconnect from them and then the speaker option will work. Otherwise I when I click on the speaker and nothing comes out I cannot hear any audio.Anyone else?
