Left AirPod Pro won't play audio despite 'connected' status

Hi! My left AirPod will have that sound that says that it’s connected but when I put it in my ear solo, it won’t play into my AirPod and instead out loud. I’m not sure what to do. I cleaned the AirPod and the case and put new ear tips in, but I can’t seem to find the problem.
