Help with an old iTunes account

I have an old iTunes account with thousands of songs that I purchased that was created when iTunes first came out. I no longer have access to the email used to create the account and don’t remember the password. How can I recover my music? I’ve tried using the email and resetting the password but didn’t work. Please help!

Old iTunes account I downloaded thousands of songs and pictures to my iPod in about 2007 (I think). That iPod worked great until I exposed it to an magnet a couple years ago and the spring released making the iPod into toast. All my music was organized into folders and I miss my music so much! How can I get back into my iTunes account when A) I don’t have the same laptop I created the account on, and B) I can’t remember the email I used at the time. I DO still have the same phone number though. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Dont know if it matters but I use Apple now— I was an Android user back then.

Re-accessing old iTunes account [Haven't been able to see an answer before the responses age off the end of the list. Please bear with me it shouldn't happen again] After puchasing another computer, I failed to get iTunes login info to access all my downloaded music. Is there any way Apple could get me back into the old account without knowing the username/password. Also the old password is an e-mail address that's no longer valid.

How to access legitimately purchased songs on iTunes? I have an Apple ID which uses a now defunct email address. Years ago I used this ID to purchase songs on iTunes. Now iTunes won't allow me to access these songs on iTunes unless I use the now defunct email address for my old Apple ID. I do have a current Apple ID using a working email address. How do I get iTunes to allow me to use my current Apple ID to access these songs on iTunes?
