neither globe-key not ctrl-space work.
when in iphone mirroring: globe key is completely ignored and ctrl-space changes language on my mac but not on the iphone.

None of the ways of switching the language that I can use in macOS own windows (other than iPhone Mirroring), or that I can use on iPhone with an external keyboard, work with mirroring. Including:

Go to settings under general and select language and you would be able to download the preferred language

The emoji keyboard also doesn't switch.
The problem is not which languages are downloaded on the device. When operating from the device itself languages work fine. The problem is only when using iPhone mirroring from Mac to the iPhone: the language key sequence (globe key or ctrl-space) don't work. ctrl-cmd-space for emoji also stopped working in the latest MacOS and iOS.
