How can I access songs purchased on iTunes ten years ago?

I purchased a multitude of songs on itunes from 2013-2017 but I did not own an apple product from 2017-2025. I am coming back to the apple ecosystem and I managed to get back into my account, but my songs i owned arent showing up in my itunes library. I found the receipts for them and they are in the store but it wants me to buy them again... Im not sure if I've missed something but I would like to have access to those song again. Any ideas?

If you are still using the same Apple Account as when you made the purchase, are in the same country, and the content is still available, you should be able to redownload fresh copies at no charge. Follow the steps in one of these:

Redownload music from the iTunes Store on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (iPhone or iPad)

Redownload music from the iTunes Store on your Mac - Apple Support (mac)

Redownload music from the iTunes Store on your PC - Apple Support (pc)
