How to check whether iMac is connected to VPN

Hi,

I've setup VPN at home. When I try to connect to it from iPhone/iPad, it says connected - I'm able to ping devices (via some network app) and can login to web interface of some devices at home (via Safari and local IP eg 192.168.1.1 - my router).

However, when I setup VPN connection on iMac (eg at my parents house), it says Connected, but I can't ping any IP address at home and can't open any web interface of any device at home. What might be wrong?

Hello sarah_s1,

the problem was in network priority order. When I moved VPN to the first place, it started to work as I expected.
